3 out of 5 rating because there are some strong points to consider when using this product.
– Low Calorie
– High good quality protein source
– Low cost
– Nice tasting (electric blender needed)
Weaker points
– Doesn’t mix easily without electric blender
– slight grainy texture at times, especially if not mixed well.
Overall impression:
This has been a good supplementary source of protein with added nutrients at a very low cost per serving. The Salted Caramel flavour is not overpowering, it’s quite tasty actually. The best drinking options have been when preparing the shake with some kind of milk source i.e. skimmed/semi-skimmed milk, full cream milk etc. Water works well although a graininess to the drink is to be expected. This is avoided by using a high speed blender. Texture issues should be resolved with this. Not good as a protein shake mixed by hand.
