Mix 4 level scoops (334g) with 350ml cold water or milk until dissolved. Use full fat milk for extra calories. Take 1-2 shakes daily, or as required.
Full strength shake a bit much for one sitting? Reduce the dose and fluid mix proportionately to suit your individual preference – for example, half the dose to 2 scoops of powder and 175ml of milk/water and take 2 a day.
For maximum results: consume an Optimum Mass Gainer shake shortly after your weight training session. After you’ve given your al in the gym, your body is crying out for the fuel it needs to recover and grow – so give it the best!
Serving Info: Contents will make 8 x max strength (334g) shakes for intense weight gain programs.

This is a 5 out of 5 star review for Optimum Mass.
This is clearly the flagship product for GTN and it shows in texture, flavour, mixability. This market leading high calorie drink is a good choice for if high calorie count is what you’re after and its cost effective.
STRONG POINTS
– High calorie count AND cost effective
– Great mixing, great texture and nice taste
WEAKER POINTS
– only available in one flavour
– Flavour can be overpowering with all 4 scoops
Overall impression
This is a great choice if budget is a concern and high calories are what you’re after. This shake is great with water, milk etc and MUST be mixed with a blender of sorts. This does not mix well by hand.]
Great source of protein and good quality carbs and low in fat.

If you want to bulk up then this is honestly what you need. Myself, I’ve always struggled to put on bulk and no matter how many hours I put in at the gym it’s an uphill struggle for me to keep weight on. So, I was after a weight gainer for skinny people that actually delivers on its claims. It’s apparent that not many do! IIt really works. I’ve put on 1.6Kg in two weeks and I am now actually looking forward to weighing myself every morning to see my progress. I don’t have a shake religiously every day but dose up whenever I can, especially after weight training and just very impressed so far. It works.

I don’t understand the negative reviews for this product, if you put 125g of this product with 350ml of whole milk, according to the packaging you’ve consumed nearly 2K calories and it’s not that thick. Easy to consume, easy on the stomach. Definitely worth it.

I used to use Optimum Nutrition mass gainer but I have to say, decent product, but tastes like crap. Kind of chemically/unnatural. I thought I’d give this a shot and I LOVE it – really rich chocolate flavour, like a proper quality natural milkshake. Stunning taste and smooth as anything.
Recommended serving is very big but you can just half it and split it across the day so you’re still getting those calories in. Stats are way up there for cals, protein and carbs so it’s a winner for me. I’m adding weight regularly and it’s easy to fit around my daily food intake because it doesn’t sit heavy on my stomach. Pot looks awesome in my kitchen too : p lol

I use 2 scoops of powder, 350ml of milk (add more to reduce thickness) , 1 banana, 2 spoons of peanut butter, oats, raspberries and 2 spoons of sugar for sweetness (personal preference) blended, and it’s one of my fav drinks now, after a couple days combined with sufficient meals to keep me in a calorie surplus and I can already see results. Will update after a few months but definitely will recommend to anyone who’s skinny and has had a hard time putting on weight. Also get a good workout plan tailored to your needs! Will note the inner seal flap was loose but after 8 shakes so far there’s no cause for concern. Outer seal was intact too, so no worries. Definitely better than the other black tub of mass gainer, no doubt.

My husband loves it,Great product and great flavour he had alpine strawberry, thicknesses just right And well worth money and it mixes up like a strawberry milkshake

needs 4 big scoops to make drink so you need a big blender.no good for a bullit blender or similar sized blenders. but its good stuff

Lovely flavour! Need a big protein shake bottle though as the suggested portion sizes are huge!! I usually do 2 scoops before workout and then one once I am home from my workout! It is extremely filling so definitely take one before and after your workout as you will not be able to eat a few hours after! All in total I have only been using this for a short period but shall update with results

Alpine Strawberry. Ok but prefer just strawberry

My partner has been using a couple of different mass gainers which he alternates between for a while now for when hes bulking and focusing more on lifting and wants to keep all his gains with the easy extra calories they offer on top of the protein boost and compared to the two main brands he uses this is pretty good value with fairly similar composition.
The whopping number of calories per serving is really impressive, especially as the calories are pretty decent ones with no saturated fats or soy protein and a very good 53g of protein per serving is very decent too. Not all mass gainers taste all that great but if you like your chocolate protein/gainer shakes fully flavoured and less chemcial-tasting or just not as bland as some are then this is a good choice as it’s pretty tasty and a nice natural chcolcate taste rather than a sytnhetic or artificial flavour, it’s pretty easy to mix (especially in a blender) and seems very good quality so would recommend.

This is a massive tub.My daughter uses these protein powders as she wants to put weight on.The powder is light brown in colour and does have chocolate taste but has that aftertaste all whey shakes seem to have. The recommended dose is a lot the scoop is bigger than in other shakes she has had and the powder doesn’t dissolve great when done in shaker cup ( but that may be to do with amount of powder?) My daughter is using half the recommended amount of powder twice a day alongside her regular diet and is hopeful will keep weight on her.My son in law is a gym and body building enthusiast and he says it’s pretty decent mix although he too found the recommended dose a little heavy but he said in normal times with access to gym and his normal manual job he thinks be ok as be worked off and converted.
